During a discussion on “The View” today about Epicurus and the Greeks

I’ve known for years that this just had to be happening and I’ve always wondering if they were getting paid for it.  Deep down I figured they must have been.

I guess the only great question this leaves us is:  Who gets the video rights?

So I got home from bowling last night.  Yes I am part of a weekly bowling league if your interested my scores where 184, 134, and 154.  We had rushed home to make sure we were back by 10 to catch Chuck and the fall Finally of Heroes.

 Got home, made something to eat pulled out the lap top and set up shop in the living room to watch TV, and finish my 10 rules to write by.  So laptop at the ready and supper in my hand I watched Chunk.  If you haven’t seen it, the basic idea is the main character gets the contents of an computer filled with national secrets downloaded in to his head.  So now when he see’s things he gets random flashs of information.  The more I think about the basic concept the stupider it sounds so I try not to think about it to much.  The show itself has quirky and fun James bond type feel with gadgets, action and a love interest.  It also has one of my favorite actor Adam Baldwin (No connection to the big Baldwin family) played Jane On Firefly.

I felt that it had been going seriesly down hill over the past weeks and was worried it was going to lead to a quick death for what could be a good show.  But the show redeemed itself with a great christmas episode,  the lingering effects of what had gone on before were still there but there are try to pull it out of the fire.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this.

Heroes did the same thing with it’s season family.  Like Chunk this one had been going down hill.  I think it was our friend over at Lunarbovine.com  who commented about how all of expectations where so high after last season that this one is bound to disappoint and it did just that for the most part this season.  But the fall final (AKA the last show written due to writters Strike) But they really kicked it up last night, they promissed two heroes would die and they killed off two bigger names ones.  Even teased use with the possible death of two lesser Heroes.  I don’t want to say to much more for risk of spoilers.

 The thing that really has me worried as I watched tv last night is the number of commercials for New Reality tv shows.  I saw something like for different reality TV show commercials;  A new American Gladiator(This show so needs lions), a choir contest show and a Winter edition of Big Brother.  To the owners of TV Studios REALITY TV IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!!!!!
